Indivisible HCNC

OUR MISSION

Our purpose is to stop the Trump administration from destroying American democracy with authoritarianism.
We do this in ways that raise public awareness of this crisis, expand the ranks of disaffected and nonvoting
citizens, and pressure the other two branches of the federal government as well as state officials to exercise
their powers to check and balance this takeover of our country.

WHAT WE VALUE

• We are non-partisan. Anyone who cares about saving our democracy is welcome. Their politics don’t
  matter in this moment. 

• We are self-governing. We’re guided by the national Indivisible movement but make our own decisions
  about priorities and operations. This requires everyone to step up. No invitations are issued! 

• We are inclusive. Everyone’s time, energy, and voice matter. 

ORGANIZATION

We are structured like a wagon-wheel: a circle of members with a handful of volunteer leaders as a hub.
We grow organically and flexibly to meet the demands of the moment.

MEETINGS

Ordinarily we meet every other Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary-in-the-Pines at 34 Lake Cove Rd, Flat Rock.
