OUR MISSION

Indivisible Henderson County North Carolina is a dynamic, volunteer run local group. It is part of Indivisible’s
nationwide grassroots movement dedicated to defending a strong, participatory democracy and a future
that promotes the well being of all who live here. Through working groups and determined, peaceful rallies
we support a future based on justice, mutual respect, opportunity and humane treatment for all people.  

WHAT WE VALUE

• We are non-partisan. Unaffiliated voters, Republicans, Democrats, Libertarian, Green and all
  who love our country and support our Mission are welcome to join.

• We are self-governing. We’re guided by the national Indivisible movement but make our own decisions
  about priorities and operations. This requires everyone to step up. No invitations are issued! 

• We are inclusive. Everyone’s time, energy, and voice matter. 

ORGANIZATION

We are structured like a wagon-wheel: a circle of members with a handful of volunteer leaders
as a hub. We grow organically and flexibly to meet the demands of the moment.

MEETINGS

We meet every other Wednesday at 7 pm at various locations at the Highland Lake Inn and Resort,
86 Lily Pad Lane, Flat Rock.  The precise venue has changed several times due to the growth of
